What can you do to help us? Right now, we are still working to make squarepeg the best possible tool it can be - and you can help us. While getting squarepeg underway means long hours in front of a monitor for us, for you the task it a bit easier: Blog, write, tweet, text and just plain talk about us! Here are some general guidelines to follow below.

Boilerplate. Squarepeg is a communication tool for people who use the Internet to organize around social causes. We believe that change is social, that relationships are the heart of the social sector, and that organizations and individuals will interact more efficiently and persuasively if they use Squarepeg to leverage those connections.

Logos. If you want to blog about us, (and we sure hope you do), it would be great if you could include our logo somewhere in your post, as well as a link to our site. We have both large and small copies of our logo available for use.

Tweets. If you tweet about us on twitter, please make sure to follow the Hashtags Bot on twitter, and put the "#speg" hashtag somewhere in your tweet. Doing so makes it possible for us to check out what you've got to say, and gets us all the more excited to build!

Brains in your Noggin. As psyched as we are about the current Squarepeg team, we are still looking to add a few more fingers to our keyboard. If you are a developer with Ruby experience, (Rails experience is particularly helpful), or a CompSci type, mathematician, or psychologist with experience in collaborative filtering algorithms for recommender systems, we would absolutely love to hear from you. Of course, if you are a talented techie of any type, with an enthusiasm for our cause, you shouldn't let that wishlist stop you: We'd still love to see what you can do.
